St Andrew's Church, Fingringhoe

CO5 7BN MAP

The church is around 5 miles / 15 minutes by car south of Colchester.

A beautiful, light space with whitewashed walls, the original stone floor, and chairs which we arrange in a semi-circle around the performers. The acoustics are perfect for chamber music and the church has a modern heating system, space in the side aisle for interval drinks, room for a grand piano, and easy parking. We put on our first concert here in 2000 and the church remains one of our favourite festival venues.

The church dates back to the 12th century, and the evocative remains of medieval murals can be seen on the walls.

Capacity: 110
